Below is the message I posted on Twitter around 7:44 a.m. Chicago time. I stated, China says, the worst may soon be over for the deadly pig disease from Bloomberg News. Hog futures are down 120, feeder cattle dwn 140 and live cattle dwn 45.

You can follow me here on Inside Futures as well as on Twitter at Jerry Welch@commodityinsite. Or, check out my twice a day newsletter at commodityinsite1@gmail.com.

As I type furiously away, hog futures are down 265 points, feeder cattle are in the ugly by 210 points and live cattle basis spot month October are off 5 points. Since my tweet, only live cattle have improved. And I wonder how long that can last with feeder cattle and the oinkers leaking badly?

There is no substitute for timely and accurate information. You can keep track of my ideas and suggestions on Inside Futures, my twitter account, Jerry Welch@commodityinsite or on my twice a day newsletter at commodityinsite1@gmail.com.

The time now is 12:45 p.m. Chicago
